"Ordered just after 7:30pm and food arrive at 10:30pm despite asking for asap (8:15pm). Phoned store after an hour and told on its way. Phone call from driver 10 mins later who was lost (even though I gave detailed instructions in the comments section). Still nothing so called store after waiting 90mins to be told its on its way, ask for them to contact driver and call me back to confirm. They never called back, by 10pm called them again to be told it would be another 30mins as the driver had come back and the food was now cold. Aparently driver stoped by police, but I fail to understand why the order wasn't recooked and sent out with another driver instead of waiting for him to return! No offer of compensation for waiting 3 hours! No offer of getting extras for free..they didn't appear to be bothered and though a 3 hour wait was acceptable. Pretty sure the food was just all microwaved and sent back our as was pretty cold and not nice. Would never use this restaurant or this site again (as they don't appear to remove rubbish restaurants) A complete disapointment!"

" it clearly says here that i ordered a bottle of coke! when he delivered the order there was no bottle i said yeah i ordered it and he was 100% sure i didn't he even showed me a ticket that didn't have it on! don't know who's fault it was but someone is to blame, so iv been charged for something that i didn't get! and after the meal i was very very ill and disappointed, i will not be ordering from them ever again and would not recommend it to anybody!"

"left instructions for the deliveryy driver to call us and not to ring on the door as we live in the annex and they completely ignored this. food was not marked when it arrived. 1 dish out of 4 was nice, couldnt tell if one of the other dishes was even what we had ordered, also food is very oily, could see this from the amount that had leaked and soaked the paper bag. would not use Star takeaway again or recommend to anyone!"

"Was not sure the order went through for 20 minutes- restaurant said they had not received it- eventually it came up as being accepted- food was still over 1 hour later than the 30 minute ETA given by website."
